Not just a fan cause I can walk to it. Seriously, these people did it right. Not a bar, everyone can feel comfortable, has incredible micro brews, a few that could drop a horse. and the best part...indoor corn hole!

Slowly starting to get into these local breweries! Due South Brewing did not disappoint! Prices are resaonable, options are endless and a really chill warehouse to enjoy good beer, good food (check website for which food truck will be present) and good company! I would definitely return and bring some more friends with me.

Didn't even get a chance to try the beer so can't comment but won't ever try it. We attempted to check it out on a Saturday at 6:02 and apparently my teenaged children aren't allowed to be in their tap room. I'm from Tampa, the best craft brewery city in the country, and they are all family friendly. Every single one. What a shame. Such a shock it was empty on a Saturday.

Gritty and unglamorous, but a great atmosphere and a good idea. If sitting on mismatched yard furniture in an open warehouse somewhere in the industrial depths of Boynton Beach, drinking a solid, if basic beer with a bevvy of like minded people sounds like your glass of hops, then head Due South. They have a food truck on the weekends!

A little bit hard to find but loved the atmosphere and the beer. Especially enjoyed the Caramel Cream Ale. Helpful staff, and clean, I can't wait to visit again.

Some real nice interesting brews set in an industrial setting with all working at brewing the next big one I'm back of you. Yummy.

Couldn't possibly say enough great things about Due South. Miss this place very much. Great beer, great people, cool atmosphere!

I LOVE this place! Best little brewery in South Florida! Megan, Brad, Steven and Danielle are the best, always make you feel at home, and I love the variety of food trucks Thursday thru Saturday. My favorite brew is the Mexican Standoff, it has really great flavor! Give Due South a try, and you'll be hooked too.

Amazing brewery! The staff is super friendly and full of knowledge. They offer a great selection of beer, all brewed just a few feet away from you. I only wish they would come up with a cider for my girlfriend.

Awesome service and great beers! All of the staff was friendly and attentive. It was busy but they moved quick without rushing to make sure everyone was helped. We will definitely be coming back!

I read all the reviews and was worried it would be hard to find but there was a HUGE sign outside the building so we had no problem at all. As soon as we walked in I was shocked at the amount of kids. It was 7:00 on a Saturday. The place has a lot of potential but I don't see myself going back anytime soon. The beer was pretty good. I had the Cocoa Stout and liked it but my husband was not impressed by his Belgian Blonde. There is no fans or ac so in the sticky Florida heat it was a bit uncomfortable. What was more uncomfortable was the screaming kids everywhere. We tried our hardest to find a table not by kids but had no luck. I like by beer with out babies and even find it odd that people would plan a family date at a brewery that's NOT a restaurant. We had one beer and ran out of there. I was hoping this would be our new spot but the search is still on.

Tucked away in what appears to be an industrial park is this surprisingly inviting brewery that my cousins introduced me to. Inside is a garage type atmosphere with a bar, bistro-like seating, and televisions. We opted to do the tasting and I suggest you do that as well. They have quite the selection of many beers for different palates. Take your friends and try them all! My personal favorite was the roasted cocoa stout. If that isn't your speed, they have plenty of IPA styles, brown ales, and blonde ales. I was impressed at the difference in each flavor. It is very evident that they are meticulous about their brewing. Each sip is an adventure! It is worth a little bit of a drive! Even if you are within somewhat of a proximity, you should check this place out!

Due South is a new addition to the Boynton Beach area and is a great place for a local beer! The inside has plenty of seating and even a cornhole area, loved that. I also loved the lights that are strung above the seating area. They made me feel comfortable and at home. Kind of like a country backyard party. Off to the side of the seating area was the actual mechanisms they use to brew their beer, which was neat to see. So the seating and decor was great, how was the beer? Can't complain! I only tried one of their brews, the amber ale, but that was just what I needed. They also had a food truck outside, which was convenient. Looking forward to seeing this place grow and returning to try more beers!

I was about to type I have zero complaints about Due South. But then I remembered I have a BIG complaint. They don't ship up to Chicago yet. :( I honestly considered slipping them some money to be sure that was the first place they distributed too... then I realized I'm not a rich crazy person (only because I'm not rich). Seriously though, Due South is doing some really interesting stuff and they only just opened in May 2012. Their Category 5 IPA was just amazing (Cat. 3 was quite good as well), but the real star for me was their cafe ole stout. YUM!!! I would have that in the morning with my breakfast any day... or with my lunch... or with my dinner... or for an after dinner drink. I was blown away. Once I left the brewery, I even tried their Raspberry Blonde on tap in West Palm Beach and was super impressed with that as well and things like that usually don't wow me. I'm excited to see how Due South keeps growing because if they continue down this path, Cigar City in Tampa may have a run for its money. I should also note that their brewery set up was very simple and fun. They have games out to play while drinking, tables to sit at, or at the bar with the TV. It was hard for me to find at first, but if you look, you'll see some VERY SMALL Due South signs pointing you the right way. If you are like me though, you'll have to use your GPS to get you most of the way there and then put it down and start looking for those signs. If you are anywhere in the area, you'd really be missing out if you didn't make this a destination and a priority.

First and foremost, welcome to Boynton. And now lets get down to business..... I am a picky, picky snob when it comes to beer... with that being said the beer at Due South was not made for a serious picky snobby beer drinker.... or at least it isn't yet. But that does not mean that I am not happy that Due South is here. While I was there I ordered the Cat 4 (we went on the date it was released) and the caramel cream ale. The caramel cream ale was..... boring.. But the Cat 4 was decent enough and because I found it relatively enjoyable I am waiting anxiously for the Cat 5 to make its appearance. The atmosphere of Due South was laid back and exactly what you find in breweries on the west coast... One of the things I love about Southern California and their love of beer is that in most breweries you see families enjoying a beer and socializing with friends while their kids are nearby. Due South offered that to us. We brought our son along and he played cornhole with a six year old boy who's parents were lounging nearby. While I a may not be jumping up and down at the idea of their beers, I am still very glad Due South is here.... I think that Due South is going to help pave the way for more great beer bars in the southern Palm Beach area and hopefully more breweries in the near future..... An awakened beer culture is definitely, due south...

I like the warehouse vibe and the beers are excellent. If you go in the summer sit in the a/c part of the brewery or you will sweat. Most of the staff are very nice and helpful. The brewers on the other hand are kinda snotty. I can appreciate your skill but don't like the holier than thou attitude when asking questions. You are making beer not curing cancer. Would have gave it 5 stars but didn't like the attitude.

Stopped in on a Saturday afternoon. I, like everyone rating Due South had trouble finding where exactly where Due South was...Its in the back!!! Plenty of tables to chill at, a nice bar and games to keep you entertained. While I was there...there was an intense game of Jenga (with huge blocks of course) Thing was 6 feet high and had everyone in the place oohing and aahing. If Jenga isn't your thing they have two big Corn Hole courts, they were occupied the entire time I was there. Then they also have beer, and I had a coupe while I was there. A roasted Cocoa Stout, an Espresso Porter, and their Cat 3 IPA. All solid beers. The IPA imo was average while the other two where real good beers. As for food, they had a truck outside that served up your average bar food. I got a slider and some fries and it looked like another truck pulled in as I was leaving with a little different selection. Nothing to write home about, but it's nice that they have food. I highly recommend to anyone who likes brew and a good time. Could spend all day there.

Very cool little spot! Heading back through the storage units brings me back to the feeling of some low key high school party about to get broken up or going to a see an awful band practice. It's a little hard to find, but completely worth the effort. Grab a freshly brewed craft beer ($4.50 for a 16 oz), pick any hodgepodge table & chair, and kick back with some playing cards. Of if you like cornole, they have a couple of boards there too! I would love to see them add shuffle board and darts since it's a huge space (15,000 sqft). Beth's Tip: Offers a different food truck every Friday and Saturday night. Such a great idea... check their website for schedule: duesouthbrewing.com/even…

Aug 2013 update: The current state. Due South has food trucks every Friday and Saturday evening. They rotate which is nice. So you don't have to bring food to have a party. There are now a ton of tables and chairs so there's plenty of seating. It's a great place for a grownup birthday party or a Saturday night hanging out. Check the Facebook page for what beers are being served and what food trucks are there. I have had time to build a good opinion of the way the beers should taste. Believe me when I say you won't get anything "past its prime". That can't even happen in a brewery with a limited selection of beers like Due South. Big bars with 20 taps often have that problem due to gunky lines. That doesn't happen here because of the small number of beers and high volume. ******************** 2012 entry: Due South is *exactly* what it claims to be. No more, no less. Their cream ale is quite good and since that's my favorite beer and what I enjoy, I'm not going to pretend to be a saison snob and pan the place. Saison is a pale low alcohol ale. The "caramel cream" ale in NOT watery. It is correctly brewed. It is flavorful and robust. The warehouse is vast (and people are small.) Until the enclosed bar area is completed, you will sit in the relative vastness of the warehouse, staring across yards of emptiness at shining stainless steel fermenters. Talk to people and you will find they are people just like you. Even the tapsters. They take turns working the bar. Sweet huh? Talk beer and get tips. Get your butt down to Publix and pick up some food, then drop in at Due South and consume with beer. It's good.

I had the caramel cream ale and it was delicious and fresh. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of beers by Due South. It is a warehouse and easily missed but it's nice for a quick drink and chat with friends. There is absolutely no ambiance besides the beer brewery machines that's roped off but the deliciously fresh beer is worth the trip.

We went for a friends birthday to this place. Driving up to it you think your list because its in an industrial warehouse area. The place is literary a warehouse. The beer is good an very cheap. And the vibe you get is as if your hanging out in someone's back yard. There are only plastic tables and chairs and a crazy idea of NO AC in South Florida. It's a good hang out spot however it needs AC and more than one food truck outside since they don't serve food and it took over 20mins to get sandwiches from a truck.

Quite a unique brewery housed in a warehouse, but once you get beyond that fact, it all comes down to the beers since they do not serve food. We sampled three brews and all were worthy of a return visit. The cocoa porter, the honey vanilla porter and the espresso varieties all were excellent and tasted fresh. The had just tapped a beer with habanero's also that day, but I wisely chose to avoid that as the dude next to us said it was quite a spicy finish. There is plenty of room to roam around and it wasn't that crowded about Happy hour time on a Tuesday evening. They already have the souvenir machine rolling full blast as I ended up with a keychain and two large cornhole areas give people something to do as well. The TV's are oddly placed as if your sitting at the bar, you will have to turn 180 to view the screens to your right probably staring right at someone else at the bar. We did see the hops being poured into the tanks, so overall it was a unique experience, but it will be the beers that make it worth a return trip.

Great local brewery. Food truck on the weekend or you can bring in your own snacks. They have a nice air conditioned bar section, if you need some cooling off.

I'm always looking for places to take house guests. Due South has a 15 minute tour. On the way stop at Between the Bun on Gateway west of the turn to the brewery. Pick up a couple Romanian steak sandwiches and fries to go with you to Due South. After the tour order the sampler to start and then order your favorite to enjoy with your sandwich. Due south allows you to have take out food delivered to you right there. It's kinda warm in there. So wear very light cloths and avoid on super hot days.

Love this place! The atmosphere, the staff, and, naturally, the beer are all amazing :) new favorite hangout! They often have food trucks outside, as they don't serve food... Or you can bring foods in. They also have menus for places that deliver there. If you haven't been, it's definitely worth a visit :)

Due South is a nice little local production brewery with small indoor and large warehouse tasting rooms set among the tanks and accoutrements of brewing. Their standard Category 3 IPA is a nice representation, however a growler I recently took home lacked flavoR. The Cat 4 is also tasty, but unfortunately the only Cat 5 I've had a chance to taste, at the brewery to boot, was sadly past its prime. I'm not much of a fan of the lighter ales and the Caramel cream ale tastes like straight caramel to me. Kind of gross if you're not ready for dessert. The Desert Inn Rye IPA is my favorite beer of theirs to date, which was a collaboration with Cigar City. Their more recent attempt at a similar beer fell flat on my palate and the bitterness seemed unbalanced. I was told they added much more orange. The Cafe Ole Porter and Roasted Cocoa Stout are delish. The food trucks can be an excruciating wait, but I guess that's how that usually goes and it's nice to have unique food options. My only minor complaint is I was asked to wait (after waiting my turn) to fill a 32oz growler when they were busy on a Saturday afternoon. Bartender said he needed to get everybody served first, so when exactly was I going to be able to get my 2 beer bottle filled? I ended up leaving.

Due south is an awesome spot turning out some amazing local brews, my one gripe is the music is horrible. Like a wedding in 1993. Guys try pandora, or hire a Dj on the weekends. I still love ya though-

So I read about this place online and REALLY REALLY wanted to love it, a craft brew place less than 20 min from my door, Im in. As previously described I also had the 5 pour taster and the beer here is super reasonable, just not what I was hoping for. I enjoyed the saison the most although I didn't find any of the pours particularly flavorful or authentic, more watery and just ok. I wish that I enjoyed the experience more but with the location so hard to find and the lack of patrons on the Saturday I was there (one other person) I don't see it being a huge hit... unfortunately

Love this place!!! Close to work and just a cool place to hang out with friends. Only caveat is that cellphone and 3G/4G reception is so poor. Maybe Mike would set-up a free wi-fi connection for customers soon. And maybe crank up the A/C in the taproom a bit more. Otherwise, Boyntons very own brewery! Glad to have it in the neighborhood.

This is a real brewery with beer vats in a warehouse. High top tables are set up tp make a bar area with fairy lights strung above. Good beer, good times with games like cornhole and Jenga tempting you. Beware - no food (I think they have a bag of chips you can buy if you are going to naw off your arm). Some nights they do have a food truck (tacos, etc) outside, but only at certain hours. You can bring food or have it delivered from a local pizza joint etc. If it is too hot in the warehouse, they have a small side room that is air conditioned.

For the first time I did a side by side taste test of a Dogfish 60 and a Due South CAT 3 IPA. Please keep in mind that I really like Dogfish, I think they are a great brewery with great beers but the Due South CAT 3 IPA is just better. The fruity and citrusy flavors are what make it a "Florida style" IPA and when coupled with what seems to be the perfect balance between hobby bitterness and malty smoothness the Due South CAT 3 an absolute home run. I still love a Dogfish 60 it is just that when consumed right after the CAT 3 it doesn't seem to have much flavor. Now, some of that can be attributed to the lower IBU of the Dogfish (60 IBU's) as compared to the 68-69 IBU's for the CAT 3. As you might expect the hoppy bitterness of the CAT 3 is far more intense than that of the Dogsfish 60; however, what you will find is that the CAT 3 has a far smoother finish that the 60. In my opinion one of the most important aspects of any alcoholic beverage (wine, beer or liquor), and something that so many wineries, breweries and distilleries seem to miss, is the finish and that is the what Mike at Due South clearly recognizes and has perfectly achieved. Each and every Due South I have tasted has had a near perfect, if not perfect FINISH. There is never an unpleasant after-taste and the CAT 3 IPA is a perfect example of this. Congratulations to Due South Ales!! Definitely go try one if you haven't already. I can hardly wait for the CAT 4 IPA. duesouthales.com

Excellent beer! Tons of different choices on tap. I'm a big fan of the Caramel Cream Ale. Just got my growler filled for the first time. Looking forward to the next time.

I love beer! and the best place to drink beer is always right at a brewery when it is fresh. When I read about Due South's opening in The New Times, I knew I had to swing by and taste some beer ASAP. I purchased 4 different beers on my first visit. I loved the Cat 3 IPA and also the Cocoa Stout! mmmm!! I will definitely be returning often.

A friend from work recommend this place so we went for a girls night out. Very cool off the beaten path place. It's a brewery to which they added a bar and serve their freshly made bounty directly to you. Looking forward to going back and trying out different flavors. Ladies, Tuesday is ladies night, so go and enjoy! Also, they don't serve food, but allow you to bring food with you, order in or usually there is a food truck on site as well.

Really cool brewery. If you didn't know where it was you'd easily miss it. It's in a big industrial hanger. They have all the huge brew tanks and pallets of brew supply. The other side of the space has a bar and several tables. They usually have many selections of their own brews and 1 or 2 guest taps. They have great beers with unique flavor profilea. The imperial caramel cream and the cafe Ole are some of my favorites. The atmosphere is unlike any other. Definitely worth a visit.

Due South is an excellent slice of Florida locality. Great in-house brews and a relaxed environment make an experience as enjoyable as the beer. While the Café Olé Espresso Porter is not to be missed, the Category 3 IPA and signature Caramel Cream Ale are available for a lighter palette. This is truly a hidden gem.

  • Alex S.

They really make great beer. I'm a fan of the Category 5 IPA in particular but everything seems good here. I like that they have food trucks there a couple times a week too. They give tours of the brewery that are interesting, and you can enjoy all their offerings on draft in various sizes including small sampler glasses while sitting at the bar or one of the many tables. They also have games for people to play. Nice place to bring some family, or just hang out with friends.

  • Alex T.

I have been going to this place since opening weekend a couple of years ago and I love it. Always improving the beers and the layout of the brewery. Can be a bit of a pain to get drinks at first. A bigger bar might make it easier or an extra bar tender or two. However, once you order they always come back to check up on you which is a definite thumbs up from me! Keep the beers coming DSB! The location can be a bit sketchy for first timers so just be aware that it's behind Sherwin Williams. The parking is ok for the most part but be aware during high traffic hours. Can be frustrating. They usually have a food truck hanging out outside. Thats more of a crap shoot on if its going to be a good one or not. They usually list them on their social so go look for yourself!

I came to the brewery a few weeks ago with a few members of my family on a Saturday afternoon. The place is in a warehouse area and a little difficult to find on the backside of the building. There was a great deal of seating in the main area, though on a hot day it is pretty uncomfortable with just a few big fans running. They have a few cornhole boards set up in the main warehouse, as well. There is also an enclosed air conditioned room in the back, but it is fairly small. To the important stuff: They have a great beer selection, upwards of a dozen different beers that run the gamut from fruity wheat beers perfect for South Florida weather to some pretty heavy stouts. In addition to growlers and crowlers, they also have a pretty big bomber and 6 pack selection. Their beer is above average and their staff was proficient and helpful. A good place well worth stopping in for a couple of beers.

Whoo wee! Welcome to Florida, folks! Talk about hot! Coming from San Diego to enter a brewery that nearly melted my sandals, I had a hard time figuring out how they could brew beers without spoiling them in the heat. I failed during my trip to Florida to make it back a second time for the brewery tour to be able to answer these important questions. Honestly, they have got to be pulling some magic to make the delicious beers I tried at the temperature it was in that room. I've heard many a home brew tricks: Wet towels with fans over carboys, squeezing them into fridges, etc, but from what I saw, it looked like a typical brewery in San Diego and with the delicious beers to match. Considering Due South started as a home-brew operation they obviously got it figured out early. Maybe they have high temperature yeasts, or I missed the cooling fans/apparatus? I had the Mexican Standoff and one of their seasonal IPAs. I visited my first night into South Florida (post boozy flights) so my memory is of a sweaty hot warehouse and some tasty flights. Post visit, I had some of their canned beer and still thought it delicious. Since I was staying so close, I meant to come back for the VIP tour but a summer thunder storm killed that idea for this Cali girl. There is an nice ice cold bar area off to one side with plenty of AC but our group posted up on front of the fans in the main bar area. I did notice the tanks and all the beer brewing equipment were exposed in the warehouse, leading to my curiosities. Cali tip: If you were going to drink beers here, dress lightly for the weather or bring a coat to squeeze into the chilled bar area. At the end of the day: Delicious beers and I look forward to answering my questions about fermentation temperatures on my next visit!

Great beers but it seemed like 75% are IPA's. Also no air conditioning. I will do a lot for a good beer but no air conditioning in South Florida? Stop in for one and then run unless you go in January or February.

I really enjoyed my visits To this brewery, Due South. They brew some amazing beers That I happily poured in my mouth! I was already a fan of the Sweet & spicy Mexican Standoff So I got a Crowler to go. I warned my friends to keep their hands off! They are also well known for Their Caramel Creme Ale. There is something for everyone. Pick any beer, you won't fail. The Beertender was friendly, I wish I got his name. But he remembered my face The next time I came! My first visit, the place was empty. But it was a Thurs afternoon. When it's busy, I doubt it's crowded. They've got plenty of room! It's too bad that their beers Aren't distributed in my town. I'll just have to stock up Next time I go down!

  • Angie R.

Cool place. I've been twice now and I keep meaning to go when I can get a chance to tour the facilities. I always go on a night where there's food trucks scheduled (they don't have a kitchen). The place is hidden in the back and gets pretty stuffy on hot days. Dress lightly and have fun playing a huge Jenga or bags.

Loved Due South! Went to the bottle release for the Mariana Trench on Saturday and really had a great time. Their tap room is super relaxing and has a fun atmosphere - as well as having great beers! I would recommend this place to anyone and would go every weekend if it weren't so far away.

Mexican Standoff wow! In my eye's there best beer but they got many more to go, from there main stay's like caramel cream, to there Seasonal like hopicana they do an amazing job. They have experienced and creative brewers that do an Exelent job. Stop by for a cold one, Brewery tour, take a crawler to go, play some games or for the food truck collaborations it will guaranteed a he'll of a time. It doesn't hurt to be one of the fist of the movement creating a little Brewery destination in there area with 3 other local breweries near by, makes it a easy for brewery hopping not going to far.

Due South Brewing Co. started as a home brewing hobby on Mike and Jodi Halker's back porch and evolved into what it is today with the support of friends, family, and the terrific Due South staff. When you stop by take a tour and make sure to try their Caramel Cream Ale and the Café Ole Espresso Porter.

We have been here in the past and it has been fun--nothing to write home about. The place is so hot, especially in the summer. The beer selection is interesting but, again, nothing to write home about. I like what they are trying to do but our last experience there will probably be our last. To sum it up: they have poor customer service.

Great beer and nice people. It's a no frills taproom that feels like someone's basement.

Due South, what can I say, it is one of the best microbrews that South Florida has to offer. Tucked away in a little nook in Boynton Beach this brewery offers many different types and verities of beers that are most enjoyable. I recommend stopping there any time you are in South Florida.

This what a brewery should be! Simple decor, corn hole, and great beers!!! A/C situation kinda sucks but who cares!

This is by far one of my most favorite local places!!! The Beer is absolutely amazing. The Staff are always friendly and great. Quick Service. GREAT PRICES. I visit this place all the time. Never have been disappointed. Seeing this place grow over the past 2 years has been great. This place is going to be a big on the National brew scene scale soon. They have already taken Florida by storm!! I love Due South!! My only negative thing I can even think of about them is that the tap room doesn't have Air Conditioning. In Florida, Air Conditioning should be required! But I'll let it slide. Maybe in the future this place will add some air conditioning. They are expanding quick. Happy and proud to be able to say this place is my Local Brewery. Can't wait to see what's next for Due South!! Cheers!

Really cool place!!! I'm not even in to beer and I loved it! The vibe was cool, plenty of seats and good beer! Best part I thought was food truck - like how every weekend they have a different one come:) Beer I had is in order from most liked to least... Florida Blonde Honey wheat Caramel cream ale Category 3 - ipa Wish I tried more - well be back!!! Games are fun too!! Just like your backyard hang out :)

I would love to give this place more stars but they gave away our credit card to the wrong guest and didn't seem very concerned about it. You might drive by this place if you don't know where you're going. It's in a big industrial like garage with plenty of tables and a little air conditioned area too. They have corn hole and a huge oversized jenga game set up. They even do brewery tours. The beer is really good though.

Breweries and tap rooms are a dime a dozen these days. They're as popular as the "U Can't Touch This" shirts back in the 90s and I'm almost certain the bubble is about to burst. Due South has been around before many of those fugozi, fugazi, it's a wazy, it's a woozie type of places starting showing their faces. And speaking of Wolf of Wall Street, this place is as chill as that country club scene and depending on how many Imperial Cream Ales you have, you too, might be crawling to your car. It is hard to find, but you know what? So was Funky Buddah Brewery at first and once you locate it all that "but it's so difficult" to find talk is out the window. The fact its practically hidden, makes this like the Carcosa of Florida breweries. Due South doesn't get the same recognition as some other breweries, and that is mainly because places like Cigar City or FBB are just significantly better, but that doesn't mean Due South isn't good. It's your reliable 3rd starting pitcher on your rotation. It doesn't come with all that hype, big contracts and Hollywood strut like the top of the rotation. It's your Anibel Sanchez of breweries. It's your local, hard working pal just making a beer for your to enjoy. The place is huge inside and they really only occupy 60%, if that, but rent in Boynton off Gateway is a hell of lot cheaper than them trying to mimic this set up in a more southern Palm Beach country. The atmosphere is more appealing to me than some of the other places I've mentioned. There is definitely a trade-off, because let's face it, their beers are good, some decent, some pretty good but they're a notch below the big dogs. Maybe in due time that will change - pun intended. It's a great place to come with a group of friends, get buzzed or completely faded (up to you) and play corn hole. Loser pays the tab. It's a modest place that makes modest beer with modest prices and while I know I'm sacrificing a bit opting to come here over the Brewery in Oakland park, the vibe is more my speed. Which is probably why I still prefer the FBL over the FBB. Based on the reviews there is heavy praise coming from the Boynton Beach Yelpers and that is to be expected, but as a non-bias Yeler, I would have to say Due South is definitely a place to check-out because unlike some of the other nearby newer breweries off 95, this one actually has good beer. And remember no matter how drunk you are when you leave this place, you still won't be able to pick up that granite slab and put it in your car.

I have been to Due South twice now and have enjoyed it both times! There seems to be a beer for each person's taste. Being that I don't drink beer, I was pleasantly surprised that they also have wine. Although the wine isn't the best, it comes in cute 'adult juice boxes' and is fairly priced! Beware to dress light and casual if you hangout in the warehouse, as it gets pretty hot in there!

I love this place!!! The Honey Vanilla Wheat is perfect. You can drink, relax, and play some cornhole. We drove up from Miami and it was worth it. Grab some friends and make an afternoon of it.

Certain energy about this place. Reminds me of brewing at home on a huge scale. Will defiantly be back wish I had more time to hang out as it's a bit far from home. Bar tender kept the beer flowing and I took two 32oz home. Keep rockin it and will plan for more next time.

Mom told me to not judge a book by its cover, which came in handy when I pulled up to what seemed to be a granite warehouse. "Oh! It's around back!" I realized as I read the signage the brewery had set up. So where my GSP left me, the contentious business owners picked up to lead me towards microbrew greatness. So excited I practically ran to the door, (we also were late for the VIP tour, 2pm $10/pp) leaving my Bud Light preferring partner to secure the vehicle, and plunged into the shade of the warm warehouse. Far to my left lay two corn hole sets resting up for a big Saturday night to come. Second Saturdays at Due South showcase a special limited edition cask tapping. Set behind the bar in a metal barrel, it is a gravity pour thus being naturally carbonated (not always) (not a long draw system used at 99% of bars with taps which push CO2 and Nitrogen into the beer similar to how a soda fountain functions) We hustled over to the bar where our kindly host and tour guide JOEL offered us the option of securing some pints to take along for the tour. My comrade had a Caramel Creme Ale (think like a bullseye or cow tail candy) and I had the Honey Vanilla Wheat for a smooth start as my first beer of the day. The tour overall is well done and Joel's passion for the product from pitching to packaging is apparent. The small size of our tour (6 guests) made questions and answers an easy exchange and each of JOEL's answers were thorough. At the end of the VIP tour there is a tasting portion in the air conditioned tap room with a nicely shaped glass as a take away. With the AC, TV and beer this is a great spot to catch some football but call ahead to see what's playing. I stayed around for the cask tapping (3pm) and got a chance to see the place light up with locals and fans with growlers. If you like to say "I liked it before it was cool" head to Due South before the year is over because this place is about to be huge.

Love due south. My husband and I were there last week and tried their winter warmer "Sweater Weather" which was fantastic. They always have something new to try when we go. Their imperial caramel cream ale is one of my favorite beers on this planet. There's a few places nearby to get food to bring in and the staff is always friendly.

I'm a spoiled Montrealer. As such I'm used to brew pubs and varieties of local beers. I have tried the Due South beers before and to visit the brewery in Boynton Beach was a nice surprise. The place is located in an industrial zone and is absolutely unpretentious, the warehouse with the brewing equipment is turned into pub. The beer is good and there is a food truck on the weekend nights. Tried the October fest and the Pumpkin brew, really good. The best part is one can bring beer home, just obtain your own growler and fill it in with your favourite beer. Strongly recommended spot for beer lovers.

Very cool place. 2 bars. One is inside and the other is outside in the brewery. I love the atmosphere and the bartenders knew a lot about the brewing process. Prices were low for great beer.

The tap room reminds me of some of the tap rooms back home in NC (like Wedge, and any other brewery in Asheville). This is the kind of set-up Iwould have if I owned a brewery. Large, very open space that co-mingles the customer withthe brewing equipment. There are plenty of tables and chairs for seating as well as tvs and music for entertainment. Cornhole was also set-up for those avid cornholers. Beer selection was quite diverse for a small brewery. IPA, stout, blonde, a vanilla beer, a citrus fruit beer, just about anything for anyone. I have a feeling I will be back here in the future. Growlers of 32oz and 128oz for sale (florida law prohibits anything in between). Prices were very reasonable. A great local brewery. They dont serve food but on Friday and Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons, they have food trucks. Check this place out!

This is a great place if you are in the mood to hang in a locket place. Perfect for just needing to get out! The pumpkin beer is here, I am used to the cinnamon sugar on the rim which this lacked, but it was a nice taste of fall here in FL. The god trucks are also great!

Due South was a brewery with a "brewery" feel. You walk in and walk around the warehouse space to the tasting area. There are some tables, a bar, and then inside another door is another bar. I was not impressed with the service, they pretty much just gave us our beers and that was that. My husband and I each tried 4 tasters. I didn't think the Caramel Creme Ale was that great, it was just average, and the same goes for the Honey Vanilla Wheat. I did however, really like the Peppermint Paddy Stout and the Mexican Standoff Porter. Both were tasty and very flavorful. I wish they had bottles of them because I would have had to get some to take home.

If they had the Hopicana ipa on tap at all times it'd be 5 stars, should be the official state drink The imperial caramel cream is really good too back room is a real chill spot..tv's, cool art etc pretty much have everything you could ask for from a brewery

If you are a beer snob, this is the place to go. This is a great, local brewery in Boynton Beach. I'm from South Florida, so I am very proud and supportive of all the local breweries that are popping up in the state. What's great about this brewery/ tap house is that it is low key and has a great variety of different beers. I do not like IPA beer and I find that some breweries in Florida tend to brew that style of beer. So it literally is "refreshing' to find a good mix of porters, ales, stouts, etc. The staff is very knowledgeable and attentive, even when it is busy. The warehouse atmosphere is laid back and there are usually some food trucks present in the parking lot. I don't play the game cornhole, but they have some boards there. I sampled just about every beer on the menu but the Imperial Caramel Cream Ale is my favorite!

The greatest craft brewery in Palm Beach County. This place is no-nonsense beer, and they know their stuff. No frills, no thrills, no AC. But that's ok. When you're drinking a cool caramel cream ale or a spicy Mexican standoff, you should be doing it while sweating a little in the middle of a converted warehouse. Plus, the smaller tasting room has AC for those who can't take the heat. A little hard to find, but totally worth the search. Great prices, awesome staff, fantastic vibe. Bring a snack and a few friends. You won't be sorry. Do yourself a favor, grab a growler (or two) and take it home with you to enjoy later. Might we suggest the Cat 3 IPA? You'll be back, I promise.

If if weren't for the fact that they truly make a great product, invite very delicious food trucks, and instead had to stand on the merits of their service alone this place would have bombed years ago. While the service every single time I have been here (over two dozen times over the last 15 months) has been abysmal their caramel cream ale and constant rotation of craft beers have been above and beyond.

Due South is like an episode of Trading Spaces with a $100 budget away from being a meth lab, but is awesome incarnate. All of the micro-brews are tasty, but my favorite is the American strong ale. It reminds me of Arrogant Bastard, only better and locally produced. It also dramatically improves my performance during cornhole (yes, it's a game, yes there are world championships, no I am not kidding). The warehouse chic atmosphere is perfect for enjoying their craft... and cornhole.

Boynton's best-kept secret! [Literally, it's kinda hard to find.] It's like a house party, except you and/or your friends don't have to clean up the next day! If you like your ambiance chill and your beer cheap, this is the place for you. Buy a locally-crafted brew for between 3 and 5 bucks and they also have growlers to go. I'm kind of a girly drinker and don't usually go for beer but the Honey Vanilla Wheat was yummy. Go just outside to grab some grub at the food trucks featured there Friday and Saturday nights. Any night of the week, your General Tso's chicken can tag along or you can have a pizza delivered. Complete food freedom! There's also a secret room in the back past the bathrooms where you can watch sports on TV or break out a board game. Happy Hour is Tuesday through Friday, 4-6 pm featuring $1 off all Due South beers. BOTTOM LINE: Craft beers, Cornhole and Food Trucks. Pretty much Hipster Heaven.

Love the beer, love the atmosphere! The ROLO rules! Tried the other local breweries, they just don't compare to Due South. Good people drink good beer & your gonna find both here.

Had a couple of beers here and found them very good, would have had more but had a little miscommunication with the bartender and got a pint not the sampler size. It's housed in warehouse and we had a little trouble finding it, it's in the same building as Sherwin Williams around the back. They have a canning machine at the bar and you can get a canned "growler" to go.

A rare chance to experience a fledgling brewery in action, right from its humble beginnings. Housed in an industrial park, the warehouse reminded me a little of Tampa's Cigar City Brewing....well, at least what their warehouse probably looked like 5 years ago, in their own infancy. Due South was tough to find. The Yelp iPhone app very rarely steers me wrong, but in this case, the address was off. Way off. The address and map marker seems to have been corrected now - it used to be showing up near some shady dirt road near the Jehovah's Witnesses hall. This place is NOT located next to a Jehovah's Witnesses hall. Let's put it this way - if you find yourself by the Witnesses' hall, you're nowhere near where you want to be. Learned this one the hard way, we did. The warehouse is quite large, far larger than is necessary for Due South's current capacity. That's a good thing, as it offers them the potential for easy expansion (which will hopefully be the case in the future). They could double their current capacity, and still have loads of room left over. As for the tap room, in its current state, it might be one of the most no-frills bars I've ever been to, anywhere. While we were there, I did see them building a small enclosed bar area that will (presumably) have air conditioning. That will be nice, because I don't think I want to sit in that warehouse in July. On to the beers - I'd not had any of Due South's offerings. In such cases, I'll always order a sampler to taste what's what. The beers on tap were: Caramel Cream Ale Category 3 Florida Style IPA Roasted Cocoa Stout Southern Saison Honey Vanilla Wheat Swamp Head Darkwater (guest tap from another Florida brewery) As an unabashed saison fanatic, the beer I like the most in this lineup is entirely predictable - the Southern Saison. Fruity, spicy, dry, little hop bite - smooth and perfectly easy drinking. Good beer for hot South Florida drinking. Caramel Cream Ale is my second-favorite, with excellent notes of vanilla, lightly toasted caramel malt, and a lush, creamy mouthfeel. Honey Vanilla Wheat, to me, was neither here nor there. Maybe my palate was confused by other beers, but I wasn't getting much honey, or vanilla for that matter. I pulled more vanilla off the Caramel Cream, which is also brewed with vanilla, so that makes sense, but I was wanting more of it in the wheat beer too. As for the honey, when used in brewing beer, the sugars in honey almost always ferment out completely, so it's not surprising that there was no honey sweetness, but I was left wanting for some honey essence. As it stood, I found it to be a refreshing wheat beer. Roasted Cocoa Stout wasn't quite my favorite, but with a tweak or two, it could well become my favorite. My only problem with it was that it seemed a bit over-roasted, with an acrid bitterness that I didn't think was playing all that well with the cocoa. It might have been a little over-hopped to my taste, too, which could account for some of that bitterness. Whether from roast or hops, I'd probably prefer the bitterness dialed down just a little to bring it more into line with the beer's structure. Category 3 IPA was my least favorite. It seemed to bring bitterness without any of the powerful citrus/piney/flowery character I long for in an IPA. There's the possibility that it may not have been *that* fresh, so I might want to reserve my opinion on this one, as plenty of people whose opinions on beer I trust seem to have had a different experience. I'll give it another go. All in all, I'm very glad Due South is here, and I'm looking forward to sharing in their future endeavors!

The epitome of a hidden gem (with an emphasis on the hidden)! Yes it takes a bit of searching, and in fact the yelp address posted is downright wrong (it took us along some dirt road to a Jehovah's Witness Church). Once we consulted with the Due South website though, we were able to navigate our way. Even with the correct directions it isn't completely obvious, as you do have to hunt in the back of a strip of warehouses to find it. Once we finally arrived, we entered the large room to see a couple of tanks, a small table with their merchandise, and off in the distance like a mirage in the dessert, was the bar. With prices so cheap, I almost felt like I'm ripping them off, I decided to start with the sampler. You get 4 pretty generous pours this way, and for only $1 extra per selection, you can get 5 pours. Since they had 5 beers on tap and I wanted to try them all, this seemed like the best way to go. Among the favorites of the tasting, I found that I absolutely loved their Southern Saison, as well as the smooth and silky Caramel Cream Ale. The Roasted Cocoa Stout was full of roasty flavor and you could definitely taste the chocolate, but I wasn't completely smitten. While the honey vanilla wheat strongly smelled of vanilla, I got less flavor in the actual taste, although it was still a refreshing and very drinkable beer. Of all the options, the Category 3 IPA was probably my least favorite, extremely bitter as most IPA are, but just lacking a bit for me somehow. They also had a couple of guest taps on as well so we grabbed a glass of Swamp Head Darkwater, a black IPA. Wonderful place to come and grab some unique and inexpensive brews. Since it is in a warehouse, there is a bit of industrial feel to the Tap Room, but they do a lot to keep you from caring. Beanbag toss games, and while we were there, the installation of a large screen television, will ensure you've got entertainment. Furthermore, there is a cozier tasting room in progress, where you could theoretically hold a nice group function. If you're feeling generous and want to share with your friends back home, or if you're greedy and want lots more beer for yourself to consume, you can also get a growler to go! The staff was all extremely friendly and helpful, clearly passionate about what they do. Also, they will soon be offering brewery tours as well as hosting some special events. Just a note though (since I heard some people asking while we were there), they do not serve food beyond styrofoam bowls filled with goldfish, nor do they plan to. Excited to see what else Due South comes up with, I'm sure I'll be back soon to find out! Cheers!

This is the best place for twentysomethings and older to chill and get away from the crowds at the bigger bars and clubs. Due South's beers are exceptional and always delicious. My favorites are the Honey Wheat ale and the Caramel Cream ale (which literally tastes like caramel.) I celebrated my birthday here several weeks ago and it was a great time. Great space for gathering and chill. The food trucks are hit and miss but you can always bring your own food or order delivery.

Due South had their grand opening today, and is going to be one of the local craft brew places that will help make South Florida a destination for craft beer. We showed up early on in the event, and there was plenty of room to get your beer (at one of two bars inside) and sit or play cornhole indoors. As the place is brand new, there is still some construction going on, but expect it to be like any brewery that is primarily a brewery with a tasting room: big warehouse space with a smaller taproom and lots of storage. The four beers that were on tap were pretty good; my favorite was the saison, followed by the Category 3 IPA. The coca stout was pretty decent, as as the cream ale; the honey vanilla wheat, on the other hand, was so strongly honey and vanilla flavored that the wheat notes were a little buried. However, at $4/16oz of craft beer, I'm not going to complain. Best deal of the day was the choice between two size pours: 8oz (half pint) or 16oz (full pint). This means that, if you're interested in trying more than a couple of beer styles, you can sample a bunch of them without 1) breaking the bank or 2) getting wasted. Starting Tuesday, they will have 32oz growlers that can be filled to take home.

This is an incomplete location with a lot of potential. They didn't have as many beers as I wanted on tap, but the location is HUGE with a lot of interesting things they could do. Their beers are solid but nothing phenomenal. I enjoyed the Cat 3 Hurricane, but I wanted to try the unavailable Cat 4 and 5. The people are very friendly, especially James. I would come back as soon as they brew up some cat 4 and 5. :)

This is about as local as it's going to get. Brewed and served in a warehouse, it has a unique vibe that made the night really enjoyable. They were supporting the local animal shelter the night I went and the IPA's were perfect. The only AC'd area is a smaller room in the back and finding the location is not as easy as just plugging in the address in google maps. If you want an authentic local brewery, this is as good as it comes. I guarantee this pace will be getting busier.

Love this place! Hard to find and tucked away in a warehouse both of which make this place extra special. Caramel Cream and Bodacious Belgion Blonde are my favs. Bring a sub from Publix and chill out on their lawn chairs with a beer or bring some friends and play corn hole. This place is a fun casual setting right in my backyard.

Such a great brewery! So many very yummy micro beers to choose from - brewed on the premises - no matter what your taste runs to. The tatted-up bar girl was super friendly (Tracy?) and funny and my husband and I had an awesome time. We are going back for their 2nd year anniversary party on 5/10/14 before we head back to northern Cali, but we will be back when we return to the area.

This place does great beer. I really consider it my local brewery. First it is a Brewery, not a brewpub. It is not Brewzi's or Big Bear. Yo uare visiting a "tap room". There is no restaurant, and no food is served. Thu-sat nights they usually have food trucks selling meals, but the brewery does not do food. Other times you are encouraged to bring your own. The beer is good. It is all flavorful with a little twist of the local sofla culture. They are often doing limited releases and they can be fun if crowded. If Budweiser is your thing tho you may want to steer clear unless you are open to expanding your palette. These are real beers, with full flavor. They have cornhole and really it is a great place to hang out. The only negatives are: Parking - Its not as bad as the new Saltwater in Delray, but its still can be tight, esp on weekends. No A/C - They have an air conditioned room but it is not cool. It is stuffy and muggy, and really its better to be in the warehouse. This makes Due South a growler stop in the summer, and a hang-out only during the winter.

Great spot with delicious beer and friendly bartenders, or bewmasters? Anyway, they were friendly, the beer was great- we tried a bunch- they offer tastings, which was a nice surprise. They have giant jenga, cornhole/bags/toss (depending on where you're from) and some board games. There was a food truck and a list of places that deliver, and some bags of chips- if you're wanting food. Looking forward to our next visit.

Due South is a chill, hard to find brewery located in Boynton Beach. My manliness took a severe hit getting lost trying to find this place, but it was well worth the minor hassle of getting lost and the following explains my logic. I believe in the saying, "All good things come to those who wait"; well me driving around lost was me paying my 'wait' dues. Due South epitomizes the laid-back atmosphere. Its bar merges into a room secluded from the rest of the brewery. Another section of the brewery is filled with what would be commonly found in someone's backyard patio. For those looking for some drunkercising, there is two corn hole courts. Now to important part.....beer. They do craft beer really solid. What I mean is Due South are good at what they do for a living, but at the same time it is not unique like the stuff being made at Funky Buddha, yet Due South is entirely worth the visit. I am a big fan of the RoLo Beer. An adage to that caramel filled chocolate candy that would give the masses cavities. Well this RoLo contained their Caramel Cream Ale layered with their Roasted Cocoa Stout. You end up getting the light, sweet caramel notes mixed in roasted, slightly malty, chocolate notes. It is delight to be had by all. Futhermore, the RoLo is 'girlfriend approved' by my girlfriend for those guys with ladies with a particular beer taste. My personal favorite is there Scotch Ale. It is a fantastic beer and a must try. It reminded me a bit of the Brooklyn Black Ops, but I personally like Due South's Scotch Ale better. It is certainly worth to take home in their growlers. This place is a must visit for all beer lovers.

I was there a few nights ago and tried most of their beers. The apricot was my favorite. I've always been a fan of micro brews and stay away from commercial junk i.e. Budlight, Coors Light, etc. The tour of the small facility was short but interesting. I like the concept and would def recommend it to anyone to try at least once. It was a bit of a pain to find the place but worth it.

I can't believe I haven't reviewed Due South yet! I've been coming here since 2011 when they first opened. Due South is really a great local brewery with an interesting array of beers on tap. The staff is phenomenal and the atmosphere is awesome. It's a wonderful place to stop by after work, on a weekend afternoon, for a special event, or a late night out with friends. If you get hungry, they have a variety of menus for local restaurants, and on certain days of the week they have food trucks outside. Yum! I've brought countless friends and family members here, including my twin toddlers. Due South has a respectable children's policy that is clearly posted around the brewery which is no kids after 6pm. While I love to take my kids with me to all sorts of places, I can also totally respect a place that doesn't allow kids in the evening when business starts to pick up and crowds can get a bit rowdy. Local breweries are popping up all over South Florida, but Due South will always be one of my favorites!

The best brewery in South Florida, period. The beer is fantastic, bartenders are friendly and helpful and there is usually a seat to grab somewhere even when it's packed. I have been to Due South dozens of times and have never been disappointed. This is not the type of place where you find one beer you like and drink it all night. The tough part is figuring out which to order next, especially when there are special releases. Truth be told, I could go on and on about Due South but there's little reason. Just go. The only hope is that they someday open a much larger taproom with full air conditioning because during the summer it can be pretty rough in there.

Such a cool stinking spot!!!! 1. Beer is awesome 2. Mike (the owner) and Mike (the brew master) were super nice 3. Great prices 4. Good trucks available 5. Fun and relaxing spot (love the cornhole goodness) The girl with the brown hair behind the bar can use an attitude adjustment, the rest of the staff members were excellent!

I was curious to visit after seeing their name on several taps around town. It is nestled in the back of several industrial buildings. The main area is inside of a large warehouse. You definitely get the feeling that you are inside of a brewery when you see several enormous beer filled tanks. The atmosphere is relaxed and laid back. The staff is friendly and really helpful about the beer specifics! I had a Florida Blonde and my friend had the Honey Vanilla Wheat. Both were light and yummy. On Friday and Saturday nights there are usually food trucks. On this night there were two, Lucille's BBQ and Lobster Mobster. From Lucille's, the Pulled Pork Tacos are served with fries and are delicious. The meat is tender and juicy and the BBQ saucey is great also. From Lobster Mobster, the Lobster BLT was amazing!! The roll is warm, soft and buttery. The lobster is super fresh and are in large chunky chunks. On top are bits of bacon (yaaay) and celery. If you are in the mood for a beer and a casual time that is off the beaten path, then this is definitely a place to check out!

Visited Due South Brewery in the same day as Tequesta Brewing and Barrel of Monks, and Due South was the standout favorite. Built by converting some warehouse space into a brewery/bar, it has a huge open floor plan, high ceilings, and a generally welcoming vibe to the whole setup. Though they do not offer table service, there is no problem getting a drink. No sooner would I walk up to any spot along the bar than 2-3 bartenders were dashing to help me. Fantastic. The prices were beyond reasonable (I'm from Miami, and sadly used to paying more for less in most places). The 5 oz pours are the perfect option to sample beers you're not sure you want so much of, and are an easy 2-3 bucks each. A pint is about $5. Mexican Standoff (a dark smokey beer with ancho chilis) and the Imperial Cream Ale were the best I tried, with Cafe Ole coming in close behind. They do not sell food, but usually have a food truck available out front, and plenty of delivery menus hanging on the wall, so no biggie on that. The trip from Miami is a bit of a stretch, but well worth it. I'll definitely be back.

AlThough tough to find, this place was a great find. Excellent beers, super friendly staff and a surprisingly cool vibe inside a warehouse. I noticed other reviewers complained about no AC and how it's hot inside. They do have an air conditioned interior tap room if you prefer that on a hot day. And in the main tap area there are lots of large fans...a definite must see if you like top shelf beer.

I have been here twice and have had pleasant experiences both times. I'd like to get out there on a weekend when there are tours and food trucks though. I've ventured out only on Tuesdays when pints are $3 for ladies. :) My favorites are the Caramel Cream and the seasonal pumpkin (the actual name is escaping me). The bartenders are great at giving you samples and explaining the difference between Nitrogen and CO2 (though I couldn't explain it to you or anyone else myself). They are friendly and attentive. If you are so inclined, they have a giant Jenga game and cornhole to play as well. There are a few TVs and several tables. It's definitely a no-frills spot, but fun nonetheless. And the price is right, at least on Tuesdays for ladies.

Wow you are not only a horrible business owner but you also have no clue of a real world! My son wasn't screaming or running around like he was in a playground ! But of course you not having a kid of your own might be the reason of your actions! Too bad. Not only for yourself but for your business! Learn how to be a business owner and not a person that impose your life style in everyone else! I'm very glad I can express how poorly u take care of costumer service and I hope other family read this because I made sure many parents group on Facebook did! Good luck your your business but good product it's not the only key of success! Specially in this business!

I realy like their beers. The first time there, it was a bit hard to find. They are in the back of a tile warehouse. You have to drive around the back of the building. The parking is odd , there is no set parking places. You just park were ever. When you walk in, there is no mistaking that you are in a warehouse. There is a big area on the left with tables. The main bar is in the back of area. There is also a little bar. That one has a/c. The other part does not have a/c. So it can get very hot and stuffy. The bathrooms are behind the first bar. They are small and not so clean. They dont serve food there. But they do have different food trucks on the weekends. Remember this craft beer and its not cheap. But you have plenty fresh handmade brews to pick from. The whole set up there is nothing fantasy. You are basically sitting in a brewery on the sidelines. Which a cool thing to be able to do.

Due South is by far my favorite brewery in the area. It reminds me of the multitude of breweries in San Diego- no fuss, warehouse setup, delicious brews and overall good energy. The addition of food trucks on select nights allows for an all-needs-met evening out with the gang.

Best craft beer in South Florida hands down! Head brewery Mike is a genius when it comes to making new styles and flavors. I have been going there with friends since they first opened years ago and continue to fill growlers every chance I get. Their staple beers are sold in stores all over the area now as well and I cannot get enough of the cafe ole espresso porter. Tap Room in Boynton is hidden but an amazing place to go and have a great beer. Staff are all amazing (Kara and James have been there since day one and are the best) and they have games and food trucks. If you haven't had their beer, you need to go!!

Great location and lots of space to sit but I don't love any of their beers that they have on tap. Some of their specialty beers are great, but they don't have them all the time. I love that you can bring in your own food here. It can get home in the summer so get ready to sweat.

Could not speak higher of Due South. The beer selection suits everyone's taste; the staff is always friendly and seem to fully enjoy their jobs; the atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable and the quality of the beer is top notch. I recommend the Rolo which is a combination of the Caramel Cream Ale and the Cocoa Stout. It's so delicious you will be hooked! The Cafe Ole Espresso Porter is another regular you can find on tap and it's got a nice coffee finish. Cat 3 is very hoppy in my opinion but Cat 5 is really smooth. Try them all regardless, don't just take my word for it! They hold tours and I would really consider looking into the private one they do because it's $10 dollars and you get to sample all of their beers and keep a glass! It's fantastic. They have Food Trucks come Thursday night through Sunday and they never disappoint either. You can find the schedule posted to their Facebook Page if you want to plan ahead (and try BC Tacos if you can!)The Jumbo Jenga is fun and Cornhole can be as well, if you know how to play! ;) Anyways, like I said I can't speak higher. I don't have a complaint except that it gets pretty toasty in the summer since they don't have AC, so don't come dressed for cold weather. They have free WiFi and you are guaranteed to have a good time!

Pretty cool brewery. Its nice to see these popping up in Florida now. They are in a warehouse and I was reminded of Austin Beerworks' location in Texas. The Caramel Cream Ale was my favorite. The beers were pretty good and the location suits them well as it gets quite busy. Having a line of 20+ people ordering drinks was the norm the whole time I was there on a Saturday afternoon. However the staff is incredibly fast and gets through people. I waited at most about 10 minutes. It seems to be popular with both locals and tourists alike. Parking was a bit weird. The front parking lot is not where you want to park as it is one way only with no entrance. You want to park in the back of the warehouse. There isn't much signage on the building out front so if your gps is telling you that you have arrived just head to the back parking lot.

Finally went to ck out this brewery on a rainy saturday, it was great, love that u can order 5, 12 or 16 oz, so I got to enjoy 4 or 5 small ones, my favorite was category 3 IPA, café olé was also a very good porter, there was a food truck outside, it's hidden in a light industrial strip, I was warned by a server at Beer Trade in Delray to go in winter since they have no air conditioning, but it's well ventilated so I'll probably visit it again even in the summer.

Due South Brewing Co. was a pleasant surprise for my friends and I. We left the crappy Boynton Pirate Fest in search of a casual eating place - but somewhere new! We found DSB, which seemed to be located in an industrial park off Gateway. We were confused of how to get into the place, but basically you just drive all the way around the back to where you see a food truck and lots of cars. We got there around 7 and it already had quite a few customers. So the set up is that they have different food trucks show up each night. Last night was a Jersey Hot Dog Truck. They have different version of hamburgers and hotdogs. Now I am not a fan of either but decided to go for regular "dawg" and fries. It wasn't the best, but not too bad. My friend really liked the burger though, so looks like that's the hit. Inside is a warehouse, you can see the brewing drums and it all feels very close to home. The one section which is for seating and a bar has games and board games. It is super relaxed. Now I am also not a beer drinker, I love me some cider. I was disappointed that there wasn't any cider on the menu, but the U.S seems to only just be picking up on this homegrown product, that I could get at any local pub in England. Anyhow, the guy that came over was very accommodating and allowed us to try lots of different brews. The espresso one was super interesting - basically coffee beer and it wasn't too bad at all. I liked the honey one, pumpkin spice and the apricot (all of these had fancier names but I don't remember them). I settled with a 12oz pumpkin brew. Overall it was a great night, we relaxed, played games and ate a lot of fries! I would like to go on the night they have the Taco truck, also ladies night is Tuesday all 12oz are $3. They also have a board with lists of takeout places that deliver there, my friends and I thought that was a great idea, so we'll definitely be back.

One of the things I miss most after moving from South Florida is this place! This is by far my favorite brewery. They have a variety of uniquely crafted beers, such as the Saigon Blonde (cucumber, lime, jalapeño), Mexican standoff (porter with chocolate, cinnamon, vanilla, & chili peppers), & my favorite is one of their originals-- the caramel cream ale (amber cream ale with vanilla beans). Most of the beers are available in growlers and they also have "Crowlers" which are 32oz canned growler. They also have a variety of awesome food trucks that are there on the weekends. The brewery is hidden behind an industrial building, so if you think you are in the wrong place, you are probably in the right place! When in the area, and if you like beer, definitely check this place out! You won't be disappointed!

Due South is all about the beer, they concentrate on the beer making and they do a fine job if it. It is a fun experience as you are basically in a warehouse next to all the brew equipment and activity going on. I ate from one of the food trucks and it was awful/inedible...but who cares!..if I wanted fine food I would go to a restaurant and give a review. I would happily eat the napkins here as a substitute as long as I can keep drinking their beer. This place is a testament to the owners philosophy, he set about brewing great beer and that is exactly what he has done, no fancy trimmings here, just good beer!

While visiting family in FL from Colorado, where breweries are life, I've made the rounds in south FL. Due south was next on list. As I was drinking my well crafted beer and sweating my arse off (as there is no AC in this place), I overheard the owner throw out a patron who had a service animal with him. The owner was incredibly rude, yelling at the patron to "talk to his attorney" (any attorneys out there wanna field that one), as he and the rest of his party were given the boot. It's clearly posted that service animals are allowed. I guess just not when the owner is present!?! The service was decent...one of the guy bartenders was very knowledgable and also lived in FoCo which made for good convo. Beer here better than most. But given all of the other choices in the area, this was a one and done trip to due south. Would not recommend, especially if you have a service animal :).

Love coming to this brewery! It is a great place to go with a group! We go here on the weekend to try their craft beers and taste the food at the different food trucks they have on the weekends. Recently, I haven't been crazy about the food trucks they have had lately, but they have take out and delivery me is available. Or we just go out for dinner after casual drinks there. Overall this is a fun place to go for drinks, to play cornhole or board games in a casual environment!!

Due South, what can I say, it is one of the best microbrews that South Florida has to offer. Tucked away in a little nook in Boynton Beach this brewery offers many different types and verities of beers that are most enjoyable. I recommend stopping there any time you are in South Florida.

Cheers!

Wasn't really crazy at all about this place. Bar area is basically just thrown in the corner of the warehouse with no a/c and seemingly no effort put into its appearance. Most of the beers are ipa/pale ales. The brews they tried to get creative with were either not all that great or just plain awful: scorpian ipa, barrel aged stout, blackberry barelywine, "isle of magourdo" pumpkin ale.

Great beers but it seemed like 75% are IPA's. Also no air conditioning. I will do a lot for a good beer but no air conditioning in South Florida? Stop in for one and then run unless you go in January or February.

Loved Due South! Went to the bottle release for the Mariana Trench on Saturday and really had a great time. Their tap room is super relaxing and has a fun atmosphere - as well as having great beers! I would recommend this place to anyone and would go every weekend if it weren't so far away.

  • Kody B.

Amazing brewery! The staff is super friendly and full of knowledge. They offer a great selection of beer, all brewed just a few feet away from you. I only wish they would come up with a cider for my girlfriend.

Great place for beer & wine drinkers!! Take a tour is totally worth it. However wear light clothing because it gets warm & bring your sunglasses for the tour. You MUST TRY THEIR ROLO BEER! Amazing!!!!!!!

We have been here in the past and it has been fun--nothing to write home about. The place is so hot, especially in the summer. The beer selection is interesting but, again, nothing to write home about. I like what they are trying to do but our last experience there will probably be our last. To sum it up: they have poor customer service.

Not just a fan cause I can walk to it. Seriously, these people did it right. Not a bar, everyone can feel comfortable, has incredible micro brews, a few that could drop a horse. and the best part...indoor corn hole!

  • Jill L.

Super chill atmosphere, lovingly crafted beer. Something new always on tap. Fam friendly. On weekend, there's badass food truckery and otherwise they encourage and support byof. Just tried the Verde, it was superb! Support local!!!!

It's good.
